Ufficio Caffe - San José del Cabo

Located in El Merkado (technically outside, but it is connected to another restaurant inside El Merkado). We stopped by to get some good coffee since Hampton Inn’s free coffee… well it does not taste great. Their iced americano and cafe mocha were amazing. They have milk alternatives here too. We bought the whole beans from here last year this year. Since we cannot have Ufficio in LA, we brought their beans back. Worth every penny. We got their house blend they use for all their drinks. 500g for $25.

Excellent menu choices! Lattes are works of art and the service is great! Recomend the omlette wrap tutto verde and waffle with banana and carmello! Claudia, though new to her job, was great! She is learing English and we speak very limited Spanish, so our interaction was fun!!

We have been enjoying our trip to Cabo by spending a lot of time watching soccer and eating at El Merkado across from our hotel. The Office (Ufficio Caffe) was recommended by one of the other eateries in El Merkado, and it did not disappoint! The drinks are very reasonable (often 2 for 1 prices) and delicious! We were able to watch our tortillas being handmade right in front of us and everything we ate there was delicious. The owner (I didn 't get his name) was so friendly and informative. He recognized us whenever we went back, and made sure to spend time talking with us, even when he was there with his daughter on his day off. We were really impressed. The Shrimp Quesadilla was dynamite!

Excelente café y muy buen ambiente, el servicio fue increíble .... extrañaba un café así definitivamente 100% recomendable!!!

Possibly the best dish I’ve had all year. The meatballs with pasta was served with a mushroom type sauce. Claudia made the dining experience a pleasure too.
