Pho Dao - San Jose

Pho Dao did it right. A generous part of the rich tasteful pho with delicate, high quality meat and noodles, accompanied by fresh bean sprouts. Fast and friendly service, this is the perfect place for comfort pho.

Really surprised by the high brands of this place. Unfortunately, I had no good experience here. The Pho was sub par especially with the broth too dark, salty and bland if this is possible. I doubt it is really beef as they say, but it was tender. Medium was $16, small was $14. Service was meh. Pairs of other customers played football matches on their phones loudly with total disregard for others. Many homeless people in the area, so don't let anything look in your car. There are separate men and women toilets. Accepted credit cards.

The best pho restaurant in the bay are! The soup is rich and smells so good. The oxtail was tender, but not too soft. Most importantly, it is clean. The staff wore the mask, although it was not necessary. Besides, it's fast. It only took ~3min to get the food ready after the order. Very recommended.

We ordered fresh rice noodle for the Pho but they didn't use fresh rice noodle instead of the thin dry rice noodle. Broth is not that great. Meat was ok. First time that I couldn't finish my bowl of Pho. We also try the shaken beef rice plate and it wasn't good also. I think this place is not for us or anyone that know the real taste of a good bowl of pho. Definitely not going to come back and recommend to anyone.
