Honey Baked Ham - San Jose

I last visited here two days before Christmas and the curbside pickup line of cars extended back past the stop light. I had no trouble finding parking though and the line wasn’t too long. Their food was great as usual. I got a honey baked ham and oven roasted turkey breast. For Thanksgiving I got a pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious.

Considering the time of year, and the demand, it went rather quickly when we went to pick up our Thanksgiving Day ham. We pre-ordered, as we always do, a 9 pounder with a Monday pick up day. Parking lot was packed at 11am and the line went around the building, but it took just under an hour to get to the counter. Good thing we got in line when we did, there was a 'rush ' a few minutes after we did and the end of the line disappeared behind more cars. Staff was friendly and courteous and efficient, which considering their added pressure of soooo many people, was really appreciated.

Busy, busy, busy during the holidays. Staff is well organized. Drive through pick up available behind the parking lot. Walk in pick up available as well. BEST of all since I could not order online via the website, I was able to drive 35 minutes and wait in line. Parking spots are hard to find at first glance. However, found one within minutes. Place is a sea of hungry Ham lovers. Parked, waited in what seemed to be a long line of about 60 70 people. The wait from the end of the line to the front door was 12 minutes. While inside, there were 15+ people following a line...waited another 5 minutes. Yessss! Ordered my 9 pounds of delicious ham and paid the $19.99 for the oven roasted Turkey. This place always delivers on taste and quality. The scent from the inside is awesome ham smelling. We will place our Turkey and Beautifully seasoned Ham in the refrigerator for 3 days. Should taste yummy. Honey Baked Ham great shop, great customer service, well organized, and delivering on their promise with short wait times. The greeters are cheerful and happy, even with some grumpiness going on due to waiting in line. Grumpiness is okay since we all want to achieve the same goal, buy our Ham to make our tummies and family smile on Thanksgiving. Touche and Cheers. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas.
