Ushio Ramen - San Francisco

Drove here 45 minutes because I missed the ramen. Google and Yelp says open on sundays 5:30-9:30. I came and the entrance was closed and gated up. Very disappointing. Currently at Goku Ramen next door :

It smelled bad and the food was bad. The tempura has a fish and chips style batter and the wonton soup was sour and inedible.

So good. we order it for takeout. they use high quality ingredients. Perfect for cooler nights when you need to warmed up. The separate out the broth, ramen, veggies.

The ramen at this restaurant was rated a 2.5-3 out of 5. The service was average. Unfortunately, there was a lingering smell of the bathroom in the restaurant and the ramen spoon had a strong scent of cleaning product. However, I really enjoyed the edamame grilled with truffle oil. I understand that many establishments are facing challenges in returning to their best level of service. Hopefully, this feedback can be helpful for improvement.

I ordered delivery for a group office lunch of approximately 30 people. The food arrived on time, was well labeled, and still warm! We enjoyed a selection of curry katsu rice bowls, teriyaki bento boxes, and ramen. The portions were generous and definitely worth the cost. I would gladly order from them again!
