Kazan - San Francisco

This is the best sushi restaurant that never gets mentioned. The fish is always super high quality and fresh and they have likely the best deal/quality ratio for their Chirashi bowl. Service is always so quick and with a smile. Intimate vibes.

All the sashimi was fresh and proper. The sushi rolls , ikura and uni were good.

Please only come here if you want great food, excellent service and a good feeling during and after you leave. This is a great restaurant.

Great place. It’s a little tight inside. Kind and friendly service. Jalapeño poppers fried was delicious. Has some small kick. I like spicy. The beef teriyaki steak was good. Tried the stout beer and it’s good, not to strong of a taste. Wife and I love the salad dressing. Great feel on the inside. Darker on the inside but relaxing.

Food was nicely presented and tasted decent. Appetizers and tapas seemed to be costly for the portion sizes given but the rolls and sushi are fairly priced and in line with other Japanese restaurants in the area. Vegetarian entree options available included vegetable curry and kitsune udon (udon with fried seasoned tofu strips). The sashimi salad is highly recommended.
