One of the several dumpling spots around 19th and Irving. The menu is not extensive but their dumplings are good. They’re northern style so they are boiled. There are lots of different fillings to choose from. I really like the fish and chicken/mushroom. You have a choice of with soup or without soup. With soup is 12 dumplings and without is 14. Sometimes I like having the soup because it’s a nice light yet flavorful broth with some egg drop and seaweed. They also have beef noodle soup and a few cold appetizers if you’re not feeling like dumplings. The dining area is small, maybe fits about 15-20 people. During dinner time, there is usually a wait.
Cold dish appetizers were very tasty ?. Shrimp zucchini dumplings skin were too soft. House special beef noodle soup ? was great ?. We waited some time to get a table.
They speak English so don't worry ?..the food is prepared when you order the dumplings excellent ??.. this is probably the best dumplings you could ever get to eat..hot from the bowling water onto your plate served to you on your table yummy The bowl of noodles that we had the noodles were freshly made there so
Good service, good food, fun to watch them make the dumplings through the open windowed kitchen. Kitchen is kept very clean and nice. Also good with nut peanut allergies, which is a rarity for an authentic Chinese restaurant. Thank you very much for being so helpful, confident, and accomodating.Pork dumplings with cabbage or celery are both great, as well as the hot spicy noodle soup.
