The European Lounge - San Francisc

I would give them a zero star if I could! Went up to the bar and the Hispanic gentleman bartender continued to speak to his friends and the only acknowledgment of my existence that he gave me was putting a napkin way too far in front of me and then he leaves. Then other white gentleman bartender looked at me and then went and gave napkins and plates to some other folks then went and asked another table if there items were good and then came back to the bar and just looked at me and the went and helped someone else. I just got up and went to their bathroom that a person with disabilities could never use??? I came back from the restroom and just walked right out and said nothing. What a shame how disrespectful and disgusting! You all knocked passives aggressiveness and racist right on out of the dictionary, Congratulations! Honte à toi! au reverie.

Have a drink..maybe, but dinner..no. Tiny lamb chops served without accompaniment, extra bread.. sickening lasagna...Unfriendly service

The European quickly became my fiancé and I's favorite place in Union Square. We came twice in our short 4 day trip. We felt so welcomed by everyone we interacted with. The bar tenders as well as the food drink manager we're wonderful! The food is 10/10 and the drinks are also 10/10! Knowledgeable bartenders who were able to help my fiancé explore more delicious , reasonably priced bourbon.

5 stars does not give this establishment enough justice. Our experience at the European was exquisite and genuinely exceeded our already high expectations of not only Spanish cuisine, but the dining experience as a whole. The ambience, the service, the good were all superb. We ordered the octopus and the squid ink paella and each bite was absolute perfection! On top of this, our server, Sergio Casas, was not only so attentive but also so friendly and personal. His bartending skills were so impressive and his energy was magnetic. He showed us his best drinks that were even showcased in Forbes news. The drinks we had all had a beautiful taste. Even though we came at a later hour, he was still such a memorable character who served us some of the best food we have had with the best energy. We will definitely be coming back! A

Came here after having HH up the st. Bartenders were great with great tasting manhattan's. I do have to say the supervisor Emad didn't make us feel welcome or confortable. Might of been because i was speaking a different language and/or laughing with the staff. Will definitely come back just because of the friendly bartenders.
