Outpost - San Francisc

For those not aware there is a service called TooGoodToGo its a way for Merchants to move extra product normally either at end of or start of their day. The customers go to the ToGoodToGo application and a price point between $3.99 5.99 you can get a meal , baked good groceries at about a 3 Times value. Its not a bad deal if you are okay with getting something at a very particular time, and the best merchants sell out fast via the application. Was wondering what I would get since this place is advertised as a Fondue place. But when I arrived I realized it is only a Fondue place at night and a coffee shop selling pastries during the morning and selling sandwiches in the afternoon. In this case I got pastries for $4.99 under The FC Out Post, but what they gave me were 6 I would say dollar maybe $1.50 pastries ,, price isn't bad just getting a bunch of cookies I wouldn't be buying anyways.

No fondue when we went June 2021. Staff was friendly and followed up. Parking is medium difficulty. The food is just okay. We went to fog harbor fish house after. It was an easy place to meet up. No one was here during brunch hours.

My wife and I visited a couple of years ago on our San Francisco trip. To this day we still talk about how wonderful of a place Fondue Cowboy was. Everything from the food drink to service vibe were excellent. Wish we could go back!

As a note, they are NOT doing fondue right now! The outpost is a small 10 table space serving quick fast casual food, like breakfast sandwiches, quiches, soup and salad, and pork tacos. They also have a good selection of wine, beer, and sangria. Super friendly and fast service as well. We got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado, and the pork tacos and a glass of sangria. The tacos were really good! Flavorful and juicy, plenty of lime, yummy! The breakfast sandwich looked good, but I didn't try it. Good chocolate chip cookie too! We will be back when they open for fondue service :

The Outpost serves great brunch, lunch and wines. Nice cozy space with a an old west decor. High quality delicious food! The taco's are wonderful! Nice friendly service. Looking forward to going back.
