Jensen's Foods - San Diego

I received a low rating from someone who is not a local. This restaurant was the nearest to our Airbnb, so we decided to try it. However, we found it to be expensive for the average American family and lacking in familiar family-friendly dishes, such as mac and cheese. Upon asking a coworker, we were advised that this restaurant caters more to the wealthy and suggested we try a different food business for lower prices and more traditional options. This restaurant reminds me of the neighborhood supermarket I grew up with. It's not a big chain store, but they offer a good selection of meats. The quality was better than what you would find at Walmart or Ralphs. The staff is friendly and the prices are comparable to other markets. I didn't try the deli, but they had some tempting options. The deli staff was quick to assist me, even when I was unsure of what I wanted. It's a bit of a drive for me, about 30 minutes away, but I think it's worth it.

Jensen's is a cherished member of the community who recently fell victim to a robbery. Let's come together and show our support by shopping at Jensen's.

Although it might be a bit more expensive than its competitors, the quality is outstanding. Try their turkey bacon sandwich, trust me. meat and fish, phenomenal. Great selection of artisan goods. The most extensive selection of hot sauces is only second to a hot sauce store that sells nothing else. There are never any lines you have to wait in for longer than 2-3min and I feel more relaxed after shopping there, which is entirely opposite to how I feel after visiting any other grocery store. 5/5 any day of the month.
