Harbor Island Liquor Deli - San Diego

Went for lunch with some friends from out of town. Terrible service. One of my friends never got her meal. We could not find our server, In fact, she never came around at all to see if everything was OK; never checked to see if we needed our iced tea refilled, how our meal was, etc. Overall service from beginning to end was terrible. A good server would have noticed that there was one meal missing when the other meals were served and went right back to check on it. Not so here. After an unreasonably long wait, we had to ask another server to check on the order. By the time the manager showed up at our table, the rest of us were just about done with our meals. The manager did a poor job in compensating for the error. I have had lesser mistakes with better compensation in other restaurants. Not only did my friend not get a meal, their poor attitude ruined everyone's lunch and appetite.

Valentine’s DAY DINNER I had a lot of yellow squash on my plate not my favorite. The fish was fishy smelling and tasting. Halibut should not smell or have that taste. Also the fish was not done up very well. It was suppose to be macadamia nut crusted very little of that. I have had this dish at other restaurants and it was quite a bit better.
