La Alpina - San Carlos de Bariloche

Not so much about food....ab attitude and service. We sat at a table two adults sitting for a third adult who came in and in a wheelchair. I removed a chair from the end of the table to make room for the wheelchair. I actually put the chair around the corner of our table over a garbage can, a mop and bucket for washing floors. A very rude server came by and put the chair back at the end of the table when she was running away. The person in the wheelchair had to sit laterally from the table because our server insisted that the chair could not be moved. Then she went with posture and only about three menus on the table. She's probably one of the most rude servers I've ever experienced...... elsewhere. At one point I rose up and took a picture of the bin / bucket and mop man behind the bar saw me make a picture and when we left, the bucket and mop had been removed. My salad was really pretty good - I paid the bill, didn't give a tip because you were certainly not justified. I lost the battle when someone tipped her with me. I would never encourage anyone to visit this restaurant. We had amazing service throughout our stay in Argentina.... don't need a setting from a server... or someone who obviously doesn't care about people with disabilities. People on the street - do not hope to help a paycheque or tip-always. Too bad that this restaurant and its servers and attitude did not meet any marginal standards for tourists....in my assessment.

My wife and I both ordered the Patagonian lamb that is supposed to be boiled slowly. It was extremely hard and impossible to eat some parts.

If the owner reads, can you please reconsider the way your employees are? We were happy to come to the restaurant and 2 old ladies were in front of us, complained to the staff that they were waiting for long and nobody visited them. At some point, they got mad. We didn't pay attention to how we were first. After a few minutes I asked how long it will take for a table, they said 20min. While I wait patiently, another company arrives, comes in and sits on a table....if I asked the staff what is going on, zero reflection was given and not even talked to the guys who waited for them, please let the table release. Just Shrug and said ok wait for the next it will open soon! We just left (as the old ladies had done) and gedimt on another restaurant. Cheese

We arrived and we were asked to wait approx 20min and so we did. As we waited another walk in couple, came and got seated without them even acknowledging. We went to check and the waitress just shrugged. Given we had waited nearly 20min already we were extremely annoyed and left. Would not come here again.

I visited there with a friend to eat lunch. we waited to go in for about 30 minutes and it seemed like no one care about us and that people who came after us got sited there even though they came after, there was even room outside but apparently for some reason they don't serve food outside only drinks, after we finaly got sited we waited for about 15 minute for the waiter to realise we were there, after we ordered our food (chicken schnitzel) we waited for about 1 and a half hours until we finally gave up and went to eat somewhere else, in addition we asked serval times what about the food and we got the same answer that it will be ready in 20 minutes. When we went out they at least said we didn't have to pay for our drinks, 1 bottle of water and 1 bottle of apple juice.
