Poblanos On Main - San Antonio

My aussie BF came here for an authentic style breakfast. He was overwhelmed with the choice but loved it! Wait staff were super lovely, polite and helpful! Tortillas were super fresh! And great location near the main plaza and cathedral!

Tried the Santa Ana plate that came w an enchilada and fajita w rice and beans. Also ordered the chips and queso. I really like the queso here. Some of the chips were a little chewy and tasted like they weren’t fried enough or not fried correctly. Cheese Enchilada was ok. Next time I’m going to see if they have ranchero beans. Rice was very good and the fajitas were this time as well. I go often and find the fajitas can vary in quality each time I go. I have a good experience most times.

My first time trying this place and I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes for lunch. The enchiladas were wonderful as well as the rice and beans. Everything came out hot and fresh and fast! I had a limited amount of time for lunch and due to their fast service, I was able to fully enjoy my meal. I will definitely be back for more in the future.

Great food, fast service, free fountain refills. The workers keep it clean and are helpful. You can’t miss the beautiful celery outside next to the San Fernando Cathedral.
