El Bucanero - San Antonio

Tried the mango ceviche de pescado for the first time and it was so delicious, we took some to go and I even went back later for another order to go! The service is fast and friendly. The waiters know their plates and are able to make recommendations. The environment is fresh and welcoming, a lot of seating is available. Definitely going back for more. They also have a large bar menu and plenty of selection for those wanting an adult beverage.

Had a late lunch/dinner here. I had the 4 PC fish and fries. Others in the party ordered different items from the menu. Had a beer and an app of the 12 oysters with ceviche, which was excellent tasting. See pics of the different items ordered. There is a full bar and a lot of seating. It is food as if you were eating along the coast of the Caribbean. Worth at least one visit.Parking: Lot of room

Food is good. Shrimp and pulpo cocktail is very good, I had the large and it was a lot of food.Food: 4/5

The food was a 6 or 7 on a ten point scale.It 's a bit overpriced for the quality, and the rice was bland. I used lime juice to give it flavor. The shrimp were good, but many were not cleaned prior to hitting the plancha. Also, they weren 't rubbery...although they were bouncy.The waiter was super-cool.Dietary restrictions: There are alternatives to fried fish and other heart-stoppers, but they are not too good. For instance, the filets we 're plancha, but they were seared with butter, as we 're the shrimp. The beans were refried, but not twice-cooked without some type of oil.
