Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen

This place isn't bad at all but once you've had pappadeaux, it's not the same. Now don't get me wrong the food is good (well at least what I tried) and the price was a bit cheaper. The amount of food you get too is great for dinner and lunch the next day. I'd definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. Oh but let me do say this, don't get anything with scallops. They are so tiny, it's like eating popcorn.

The service was great! Unfortunately, the food was lacking. I ordered small steak tenderloins. There were three of them and they all were overcooked. Even my mashed potatoes were greasy and dripping in oil. My spouse had the Diablo red fish and it was so salty and over spiced he could not finish it. The staff was really amazing. They tried to fix things as it happened but the night was lost to us and when the bill is over 200$ you expect to be able to rave about one thing

Well....if you need your cajon fix, this is THE place to do it. We couldn't make our mind up on the apps, but settled on the Oyster trio...the Oyster Bourbon Oyster was the Hester of the three. Janie had the Shrimp and grits and while I'm not a fan of grits, she gave it a thumbs up. I couldn't decide and gave the final 3 choices to our waitress to choose and surprise me. She brought the Red Fish Diablo out and....well, it was off the charts amazing. The restaurant itself was not very busy for lunch on a Sunday, which was perfect for us. Hostess Sukai 5 stars. Very warm and welcoming. Every restaurant should have a person like her. Waitress Cindy awesome! Attentive but not overly. Ask for her when you arrive. She was awesome (I think I said that already) Apps 5 stars Food perfect! 5 stars Ambiance 5 stars Bathroom cleanliness 5 stars Over all experience 5 stars. We definitely be back sooner rather than later. We highly recommend this place.

The food is always top notch quality. I have been eating here for years. Not one disappointing meal ever. The service is fast and customer driven. A quiet ambiance with a romantic feel. The bar area serves food as well and is my favorite area to eat.

We had a lovely dinner for two at Bourbon Street Seafood last night. We arrive w/o reservations 6:30p. The restaurant was not crowded and we were promptly seated by the hostess. They have an excellent cocktail menu and my wife enjoyed her French Manhattan (Chambourd) and I, the Classic Manhattan. I ordered the Combination Gumbo as an appetizer and it was outstanding! Loaded with seafood, chicken and sausage. I had the Seafood Jambalaya for my main course which was loaded with seafood in an excellent spicy rice. My wife raved about her Grilled Ahi Tuna salad and it looked delicious. We were too full to enjoy the variety of desserts offered, but we'll return soon for another try!
