Waxman's Restaurant - San Andreas

Great place in the ghirardelli square. in the last months I was there twice and can't expect to come back.

Eating was in order, the service was good, although the server had assigned too many tables to it to the attention to anyone that the restaurant of this price-point warrant. the menu was good, but limited, children ran around while the people tried to enjoy their date night dinner. it seems to have an identity crisis, it is an upscale restaurant with contemporary kitchen or it is a mid to upscale family-friendly restaurant near the square try not to be. the personal was friendly.

We have eaten in other waxman restaurants and find the food here was less inspired than the other meal we had. the fish was dry, and even after the return, the exchange was just a little better. possibly does halibut not well on the high heat.

Outstanding food, awesome service, great décor, right in the middle of the Ghirardelli factory plant, lots to do there, many activities, shops, great food! Great place! San Francisco at its best!

Stone fruit salad w/ mache: sadly, fruit was flavorless no excuse; it's peak season; kitchen should not have served it. JW Chicken: Delicious! Green salsa was terrific. Halibut with carrot ginger puree: Very tasty. Side of potatoes: Awesome!
