The Prado Restaurant - San Andreas

Located in the heart of Balboa Park this elegant restaurant offers world class dining with views and comfort. Stop in for lunch or plan a special dinner. Food is terrific.

Thrown into Prado and taken a break from the visit of the nearby museum. My friend and I had a good meal and fun. My only grip was that an old bat rolled her eyes on my girlfriend and I, it must hurt her feelings that we ate in the same restaurant as her. Apart from that, the crowd was good. Service: Customer service was great and the young lady who took our order was friendly. Food: Many options to eat products, food was delicious and fill. Environment: Prado has plenty of space to immerse, you can eat inside or on the terrace. The day was nice so we eat on the terrace over a beautiful garden. Silence room: The Prado does not have a toilet room in its restaurant, so you need to drive outside the courtyard opposite the Prado (less than a minute walk).

I recently planned a day at Balboa Park that visits to several museums and a nice lunch at Prado Restaurant on a last Saturday afternoon. I have never visited Prado and wanted to treat my family to good nutrition. This day was special because our son, who has keliatic illness, was with us. Because of its disease, we rarely go with it, unless the restaurant has a strict gluten-free menu that not only contains gluten-free ingredients, but also a process in place to avoid cross-contamination of foods. Our host and server explained their process to our satisfaction and ordered some food. The food was spectacular as expected and the service was top notch. Prices were slightly higher than expected, but everything is expensive, so no complaints here. The best I can tell is that my son has not become ill to eat gluten and that says a lot. We had a great time!! Thanks for providing safe menu options for people with Celiac disease and other disorders. Very recommended. We'll be back.

Beautiful outdoor terrace with good food and service! Service and welcome: We have Prado at 12 o'clock. The whole team was friendly and we sat right away. Our server was great! Food: the burger was great and also the Arugula Salad. See pictures, I recommend both. Price: $18 for a burger is on the high side? but it was worth it. This is not your Fast Food Burger! A juicy Kobe Burger! Even if you eat food from the zoo the day before, then this price will simply appear normal? Recommendation: If you visit all museums in this area, stop by, try the Burger and Pommes! In my opinion!

Attentive service in a beautiful setting. We value the Marisa server the rest of the team of The Prado to make sure we had a wonderful time to birthday. The outdoor terrace is such a beautiful location in the middle of the park. The black bean soup, Arugula Salat Flan were delicious. We hope to see a vegan duck on the menu next time!
