At the beginning of the shrimp phajitas BOMB was so good, but the rice and the beans lubricated as if they were cooked yesterday. The swordfish tacos were meh and so they were rice and beans. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality of our waiter. He was very attentive and friendly.
We have the Calamari rellano (spl? And a carni asada burrito with roasted beans and cheese! And it came to our table hot, fresh and delicious!! The atmosphere is absolutely friendly, with 2 floors of table seats including outdoor kitchen. Outside is a small area, so if you have a large group, I'm pretty sure you're sitting inside.
Big little Mexican remnant we found when visiting San Diego. I had the three Burrito Entre and it was so delicious! My wife had a chimichonga and she said it was the best she ever had. Service was friendly and fast! Great for the experience!
In this restaurant, I did a Google search of restaurants nearby, saw the reviews and thought we would try. The reviews are not wrong. We were quickly greeted and sitting on the upper floor in the outdoor area, menus, glasses water and a complementary bowl of tortilla chips, salsa and the cheese sauce that were all beautiful. We were automatically brought out another bowl of chips and sauces, again complementary if we were almost all eaten. We ordered the Chimichanga burrito x2. All four meals arrived quickly and the Fajitas served on a dazzling skill that was an impressive sight when served with the dazzling sound and steam that filled the air with magnificent aromas. Meals were huge. So huge that three of us have to go boxes so that lunch is sorted tomorrow! Not to waste as it was really nice. The chicken was not dry, had a lot of taste and there were mountains of it. For drinks, three of us had the tail that had pineapples and coconut syrup. I want to say it was called a Carmen Miranda, but can't be sure. Anyway, it was heaven in a glass and good value at $6. Service was friendly, helpful and fast and I would not hesitate to eat here again when in San Diego. The bill came to $103 for four of us eating only one main with drinks. If I could get the cheese sauce back to the UK, I'd buy it from the gallon.
This is a consistent and reliably terrific local hotspot. I?ve been to this place a dozen times over the years and everything has always been perfect. The wait staff is always polite and helpful and the venue with the outdoor seating is great. The current special was the seafood avocado rellano which was full of flavor and had a touch of enjoyable spice/heat. Pair this with the house ultimate margarita and you?ll have a wonderful meal. The house Margarita is made with a few different fresh fruit juices and is delicious. I?ve enjoyed coming here for years and I?ll continue to be a loyal customer for years to come. Thank you, Miguel!
