Valter's Osteria - Salt Lake City

Shockingly overrated. Not bad but certainly not worth all the gushing praise it gets.

Friendly staff. Extensive list of daily specials. They could do more to make it vegetarian friendly — although there are some options. Terrific wine list. May the memory of Valter live on!!

I researched it online for my trip to Utah and I was not disappointed. The food was outstanding the decor was beautiful, the service was amazing. Classy with amazing food. There needs to be more establishments like this and I will be back for my next trip to you to Utah

My husband and I came here for our anniversary recently. I had heard of this place for years and we were excited to finally try it. My husband has been a vegetarian for over 20 years. We’ve been to a number of upscale restaurants and as long as he lets everyone know ahead of time, we’ve never had an issue and high end places have been very accommodating for him.
