Fordies S.c.p. Salou

On a blisteringly hot August afternoon my twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around this part of the resort when we chanced upon Fordies and what a great find. A proper locals bar ,interior is superb, it's cosy ,a cool looking serving bar, dark wood features, eclectic decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its a great bar to chill out in. We sat on the terrace area of this bar ,we ordered bottles of Estrella Galicia beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the sun while we sipped our beers. A big fan of this famous Spanish beer, its a light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink, when this beer is served freezing cold as in this bar its just a really refreshing and delicious beer indeed, never sampled a meal here as we had just ate in a previous bar but I must say that the meals leaving the kitchen looked and smelt delicious and on our next visit to here we are most certainly going to sample a meal here. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Fordies we had a great time. Fordies is easy to locate along Fra.Juniper Serra. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,10am till 12.30am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

While we were walking around this brilliant area of Salou we visited this brilliant place for a couple of lager's.Fordies on C.de Frai Juniper Serra is a compact restaurant and bar that offer's a very good food and drink menu and was really busy when we went to here early in the afternoon. This superb restaurant and bar has a nice pub style interior with nice decor and nice furnishings and superb seating options.An excellent restaurant and bar and a superb place to have a beer on a warm day.When we went here we had a few bottle's of beer from Estrella Galicia which where served in perfect condition and were well priced.An excellent local restaurant and bar thats in a superb area and is well worth a visit.(This is my first review of Fordies restaurant and bar). Bar familiar en la zona de playa de Salou, dirigido por un matrimonio honesto y trabajador. El servicio es excelente, rápido y atento, y la comida es deliciosa y a un buen precio. Es el mejor lugar para comer en la zona, ¡muy recomendable!

Un bar de toda la vida, con una gran carta y precios asequibles.
