Toby Carvery Amesbury - Salisbury

The food was really nice. Had a dirty piece of cutlery, but this problem was solved immediately. V

When we arrived, we were initially ignored by four bar employees who were chatting amongst themselves. Eventually, a man appeared and warmly greeted us, especially showing kindness towards my two young grandchildren. Despite the busy atmosphere of the restaurant, we agreed to wait a few minutes as advised by him. The food and service met our expectations, although we were a bit disappointed when we were rushed out as the restaurant was closing for renovations in the evening. It may have been better for the restaurant to not accept bookings after 4:00, considering our reservation was for 5 pm.

My grandchildren were in the mood for a roast dinner, so we decided to give The Toby Grill in Amesbury a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. When I requested to switch tables, they were very accommodating.

The restaurant provided a comfortable, clean and friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent - fresh, tasty, and a great value. I highly recommend it and will definitely be booking again for the Sunday Carvery.

Have been on a number of occasions, had to wait a little while for the chef to appear to serve but nonetheless still excellent value for money. Have already booked for Saturday lunch.
