Mallery St Cafe - Saint Simons Island

The food at this restaurant is amazing (especially the monte cristo sandwich). It's definitely worth the wait on a Sunday morning. The owner, Lance, and the staff do a fantastic job. I will definitely be returning.

The coffee was mediocre with imitation half-and-half, lacking real cream, honey, or natural sweeteners. The overall ambiance felt dated and uninspired. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. The staff seemed disinterested until they discovered I was writing a review.

I am never disappointed when dining at this restaurant. I absolutely love their food!

Very busy little place. Sometime, with waiting line up to 45 min. Plenty of food omelets are large. Big fluffy biscuits.

We stopped by here for breakfast on our way home from a weekend getaway to the island. The grits were like concrete. They were cold, hard and stiff. The biscuit was big and fluffy.
