Restaurant le Nocturne - Saint-Raymond

We arrived with high expectations at the restaurant. The hostess/server was very friendly and even helped us by recommending the least expensive grocery store in St. Raymond. The prices were the most reasonable we had seen in 16 days of travel, which was a welcome surprise, especially since we were able to bring in our own wine. However, the food itself was disappointing. Both my chow mein and my husband's cherry chicken were not tasty, although the portions were sufficient. If I were to come back, I would take the waitress/hostess's suggestions on what to order.

I had a lunch with scallops on the menu. The scallop was really good. The space to move around is limited and offers little room for movement.

The chicken at this restaurant is truly excellent, with large pieces served with sauce and coleslaw. The coleslaw was just how I like it, with a slightly sweet taste, truly perfect. The pizza was also very good. Kudos to the chef!
