The Woman's Exchange Of St. Louis

Ordered my usual women's exchange salad at the take-out counter, but asked for it to be lightly tossed. Was told there was an additional charge which I agreed to, until my bill rang up to $20. The fee was $4. For a salad that's 70% iceberg lettuce, the cheapest lettuce out there a cost of 15 bucks for the salad, the toss should be free. Just a thought!

It looked like this might be a lovely place for me to take my three aunts for lunch on a big shopping day. However, we got there at 1:28 PM, and were told that they were closing at 1:30 and that we could not even be seated or have a beverage. I was so excited to show them this restaurant and gift shop, and looked forward to sharing the story of how this business came to be. However the rude nature of the staff and these ridiculously short hours, which were stated to be 2 o'clock on the internet , has soured my opinion of them. In fact, I had attempted to call and make a reservation for us, and the recording said that they would not take reservations. So, I will most certainly not be back, and will share my extremely negative experience with anyone else who is interested in going there.

Such a great store and concept. Wish they had more vegetarian options <3
