Contribuiți la feedbackThis fantastic restaurant served us the best rabbit we ever tasted. Its best offer is the lunch package that they only make on Thursday/Friday (3 courses currently 45 euros), although we are sure that the more expensive menus would be worth the money... at other times. We had mise en bouche, 3 courses plus optional extra coffee homemade miniardises for less than 50 euros per person. Very friendly atmosphere and high quality food and drinks. Exceptional service. Obviously, this facility will soon get Michelin stars. We enjoyed every moment and every idiot. The staff was very attentive to our lightest need.
This charming hotel is ideal for a stopover or a visit to the beautiful countryside around it. The additional bonus is also the great restaurant. The cook is very fantastic and cooks beautifully. If the weather is good, eat outside... the courtyard is a must
Excellent value for money in this One star Michelin restaurant. Monsieur Chartron is an excellent cook and he obviously surrounded himself with a very talented team. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
We had a lovely lunch here and enjoyed ourselves (on my birthday with mostly interesting and tasty food, relaxed and friendly service, pleasant ambience, would certainly recommend it. However, the experience wasn't quite exceptional, for various small reasons which added up to a curious disconnect...with detail. First they couldn't find our booking but said they had one table left (we later found out they had put it under my wife's first name even though their email confirmation used our surname . Next we were told the seasonal lunch menu (very good value at €38 wasn't available on Saturdays, then told it was. The amuse bouche and starter (crab, pumpkin soup and poached egg were delicious, but the central ingredients in both our mains were disappointing my wife's veau was a bit dry/ overdone and my cod fish wasn't as fresh and inviting as it might have been. The rest was excellent including very chocolatety dessert and nice local St Joseph by the glass. Charming wine waiter (who didn't mind that I didn't order the J L Chave Hermitage 2003 at €920! . We also passed on the truffles menu at €185. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh given this was so much better that most lunch £30 menu's I've had in the UK and France, but it presents itself as michelin starred fine dining so invites feedback on missed details. Friendly staff deserve benefit of the doubt.
We were at the hotel for one night. Tge Restaurant is nice the stuff is really friendly. You only have menus. We took the menu for € 40 plus € 35 of the wine. We got white and red wine, it was really good. The food was... excellent.
