Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing service. Pangea provides unique plates with a casual but uplifting atmosphere. Our waiter was Daniel and he was very knowledgeable on all the dishes. The staff is very attentive to keeping drinks full and bringing out plates in a reasonable amount of time. It’s a bit far from me, but it is well worth the drive and I can’t wait to go again.
The food is undeniably good. However the interior is lackluster and looks like, if a restaurant was a college student, this is it’s dorm room. There is a good amount of room for improvement here and some polish would go a very long way. Also the food is quite expensive for what you get. Overall this place could be a gem of a restaurant and put New Town on the St Louis map, but some improvements are required first to get there.
We really wanted to support a local restaurant even though we have had inconsistent meals before from here. We ordered take-out for my birthday dinner. 2 steak dinners and 1 pasta primavera. Everything was exceptionally bland, vegetables in pasta were very undercooked as well as our steaks. The food was extremely overpriced for what we received. Very disappointed. Not a great way to end a birthday.
Pangeas cantering crew did a wedding T the Old Wicks Factory in Highland Il last night September 18th. the food was amazing and the presentation beautiful. Will definitely come check you out for an evening out!
