Delighted to go to the old hostel that had been recommended to us, we are surprised by the warm welcome from the arrival, and that will give us the tone of this meal. 45 minutes to take our order, with a water carafe and a basket of bread, we are not offered to drink a drink. 20 minutes waiting to have the dishes, including a dry and too cooked duck and a salad without seasoning. We decide to shorten the meal. to pay, another 10 minutes waiting at the counter in front of a boss who doesn't seem to see me, probably too busy shouting at his employees in front of the customers. fortunately the note is not too salty.

Reception not engaging if we arrive around 8:00 pm in the summer! banal cooking and certainly not home. beautiful terrace under the trees but old interior, stone.

At the foot of the prestigious site of Saint-Bertrand du comminges, located in the low city on the village square, you will find the "old inn". At the end of February, a dozen guests, a caresing sun allowed us to settle in the very pleasant terrace of this Auberge. The hostel offers several menus including a quick one, we had time, and our choice is focused on the intermediate menu at 24,50 €. From the foie gras to the apples to the Armagnac, to the whole duck magret or the biche coke, originally accompanied by multicolored vegetables to finish on a trio of cheeses and homemade dessert, the old hostel offers a simple but refined cuisine that we enjoyed. family hostel, which is very courteous, simple and efficient service and quality meal with a reasonable price.

The value-price ratio is quite correct, the frame is beautiful, but then the welcome. I don't have a word, I've never seen this before, we felt too much, as if we were embarrassing, not a smile, the covers weren't put on the table but thrown, in short, to wonder how this restaurant exists. very bad experience, running away!

We ate on the terrace under a tree, super pleasant. The service is smiling, very friendly. on the other hand very long extremely long arrived 13h out of table 15h30... Then I would have liked to eat what I ordered. that is to say that we were 3 ordered the dish from the menu at 27€, and we are served that of the menu at 23€... accompanied by 12frites (yes I counted them) 1 tablespoon of fayot not cooked enough and 1 tablespoon of a divine ratatouille, I would have eaten a bowl!!! bof cheese, delicious homemade dessert, I forgot the fresh and good entry. Anyway, if you've got the tps, you're gonna be nice. If we have to come back here we'll try another restaurant, that's not what's missing.
