Hippopotamus Saint-ambreuil

This was our first visit to this chain of restaurants. Just what we needed after 5 hours on the motorway. The manager was friendly and it’s nice to have a plate of simple food cooked to order. We had entrecôtes with fresh green beans ratatouille. It was tasty and came with a choice of sauce. We paid much more in Cannes and the meat was much better here. Both the waitresses we met were charming. Would recommend.

Third attempt at a lunch stop due to service stations being very crowded at lunchtime. Attentive staff and despite being busy, were warned there was a 15min wait for service on arrival. Food was a good standard, and staff ensured we had an enjoyable meal and a refreshing break from the road. Would certainly use again.

Nothing to say again. Perfect decor and disappointing, smiling staff, no waiting to be installed, for ordering and for service. The meat is delicious, melting and very tasteful. Just a little the cacophony to pay because the box space also corresponds to the reception area of people. This restaurant changes old restaurants of highway areas.

Very good restaurant, we take the time to sit down and eat well before leaving. Little more dogs are accepted with pleasure.

We have luncheon this day in this hotel... a group of 66 people.The reservation was organized only 24 hours in advance. Review: A fast, very organized service, a smiling and very friendly team. Everyone has been very satisfied with the service both for the quality of the meal and for its running!!! A very pleasant lunch break. I highly recommend.
