I was very disappointed, with our meal & drinks. A group of 8 co -workers got together last night for supper. Inside the restaurant was not busy. A few of us ordered a pitcher of White Wine Sangria. The majority of us got the evening special which was not planned until last minute, supposedly a scallop pasta with pesto and white sauce, for $16.99. The Sangria, I had heard was full of wonderful fruit such as raspberries, that was the first disappointment. When the Sangria came it had a few slices of oranges, a slice of lime and some cherries. Not a good presentation at all, the taste was ok but overpriced. Next the special. I asked for spinach to be added to mine, it had 5 leaves of spinach, the pasta was dry and there was no evidence of pesto, actually no evidence of any sauce. It was mildly warm but not hot. The waitress told us it was 16.99 before we ordered and charged us 18.99 on our bill, without an apology when brought to her attention. Unsure if we will make a return visit.
The staff here were amazing and friendly and the food was delicious! Everyone was just so nice to our little baby and they made us feel so welcome. old east coast charm :). I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!
Joey's restaurant is a must stop when visiting Sackville. Their pizza, pasta and garlic fingers are the best we have ever had, their ingredients, sauce and dough are perfect and the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and cozy, its the best pizza place in town!
I didn't have any pizza but the spinach salad and bacon-wrapped scallops were very good. The service was also super friendly and attentive to detail without being overwhelmingly disruptive as it sometimes can be. Great tact.
