Rao's Bakery Coffee Cafe - Sabine Pass

Rao's is definitely a favorite. However, yesterday's visit left much to be desired. While the service is normally wonderful, Brett left a very negative impression on my party. He was very unhelpful and rude. Especially being that my food was seemingly intently made sub-par to the usual standard. I sincerely hope this was a one-off incident, as I love to frequent Rao's.

Purchased a VooDoo king cake from Rao’s. This was the worst cake. Very dry, very little filling. No where near worth $35. Dry..Dry…Dry! Oh did I say dry. It’s like they ran out of ingredients. Never again!

We got breakfast croissants and coffee to go. The croissants were okay, and the coffee was a bit watered down. The cakes and cookies and other treats looked amazing though. If you are craving something sweet I would definitely recommend this place.

Can my son have a cup cake. You 're total is.... Wait! The rest of my family and I would like to order something too. What 's the hurry?!? Sheesh! Little girl, if you don 't feel like working, say so and go home. Terrible service with a capital T.
