Came here for breakfast a few days ago. Was really disappointed in the food. Fortunately we had a super sweet server who noticed things weren't good and offered to correct. For example, first cup of coffee was just barely colored water (which she noticed an immediately replaced). Oatmeal was very thick and gummy (so she offered to bring milk). What she couldn't tell was that my biscuit was hard as a rock. Someone else came over to ask how things were and I showed him the biscuit. He got another that was softer but still not good. How can a bakery not make decent biscuits? Go to Tina's instead.

Ordered the Capitan BEST...even though there were other customers waiting for their orders, ours came out quickly. We lifted the top and NO BACON, had to wait for the server to tell her it was missing items, she took it back and they threw some bacon on it, by then it was luke warm as if it was a return from another customer, potatoes were luke warm..very dissipointed will not return. TLDR: food disappointing, tense environment. I really wanted to like this place. We went in a little before 2 knowing they closed at 3 but figuring we had enough time for a quick bite. They seemed a little stressed about it. Asked about a few of the pastries, but apparently they were already sold even though they were in the case. So we ordered two different cookies, a Mexican wedding cookie and a pecan sandy. They were the same cookie, one just had powdered sugar. They weren’t the best but I think they were the best thing we had. We ordered mixed drinks, they were ok, our poor waitress kept apologizing about being out of things, including the garnishes for our over priced drinks. Apparently someone quit so things were a little hectic. But we were just treated very unprofessionally. Like we were imposing on being there. And then our food was just so disappointing. My hubby ordered breakfast and the potatoes were dry and old, the sausage was dry and old, one egg was over cooked one was undercooked. It was just bad. I ordered the veggie sandwich and it was like a raw onion and bread sandwich. There was a little cheese and an odd mushroom and bell pepper a few pieces of spinach. My side salad spring mix) and ranch was good. But the sandwich was lacking. At least the bread was good. I think I could’ve put up with the disappointing food if the environment was better. They were obviously stressed and short staffed but complaining to and in front of customers made for a very uncomfortable experience. I hope it was just a bad day but I don’t think we’ll be back. We also observed others around us being told what they were ordered was out and problems with their food.
