FANS OF SPICY CHICKEN FEET, RUN DON'T WALK!! Vibes are immaculate, feels very much like a casual midnight food run with friends type of place it can be loud though, so I wouldn't recommend going here if you're planning to have a lot of conversation. I don't think I had any issues with the service. Food details (I don't remember the specific names since I ate here two months ago and forgot to write the review then): Spicy chicken feet as I said, amazing, no complaints Shrimp it was good, but not as good as I was expecting it to be Rice the spicy one is really tasty, but I would definitely recommend getting the non spicy rice balls because all of the other dishes are spicy. You will have to mix the ingredients together yourself and shape them into rice balls. Flavor wise I definitely prefer the spicy one, but I would recommend adding the rice balls to your order for functional purposes.
My eating partner made a reservation for dinner on the day of. We got seated quickly as the place wasn't full. Parking was so bad..this made us late by 10 minutes. The parking spots are small and tight, and you have to be really lucky to catch someone leaving. This is in the same plaza as Boiling Crab and next to Sun Nong Dan Kanghodang Baekjeong. I would say they have Korean pub food. They handed us so many menus it was hard to choose at first. I think their most popular dish is chicken feet, but neither my friend nor I wanted to eat that. We settled for three items: tteokbokki, grilled squid, and a pork pancake. All the items were tasty! The tteokbokki came out looking very liquid-y/soupy. I feel like the sauce did not thicken even after we finished eating. It wasn't that spicy. There was a good amount of the beef belly, fish cake, and rice balls. The grilled squid was my favorite of the three. I love squid legs. The sauce they used was sweet and slightly spicy. The squid was not too firm. I would get this again. The pork pancake was not bad! I've had bad experiences with seafood pancake where it's all green onions, but this was a good balance of a bunch of ingredients. There was plenty of meat imo. Service was good. You press the call button at the end of your table to request a server. The combos sound like a good deal if you like chicken feet or whole chicken. The menus are helpful with photos. They have bathrooms available.
The fried chicken was delicious! The was surprised by the presentation when the chicken was teared apart in front of us. The sesame rice ball was delicious as well. The place must be understaff that day since there was only 1 waiter and we waited awhile for out check.
Do you know how exciting it is when you imagine food to taste a certain way, you finally have the chance to try it, and the dishes were delivered just how you imagined it would taste? Yup! That's what happened when I tried Korean street food at Hanshin Pocha. The waiter kept saying that they couldn't adjust the spice level for the chicken feet and warned me that it's definitely spicy. I must have presented my weak sauce face and not my I'm a well trained Asian level spicy face. It had a nice kick, but it's no where near nose running or itchy scalp spicy level. The rice balls are a nice addition and I'd highly recommend so you can sop up the sauce! It's a nice setup. I love the Yelp reservation and wait list option available. Patience is not one of my strengths. I save that energy for the Parking in this plaza is such a mess on the weekend, but it was easy on a weeknight.
