We were staying in the adjacent Holiday Inn Express and ate at Marche on 3 evenings. We enjoyed the food and mainly it was cooked to order. We managed to avoid bus parties ok although often there were many reserved (empty) tables leaving a smaller...choice of where to sit
From a vegetarian perspective, this was appropriate with regard to the choices. mango leti was excellent. orange juice was as expected. they advertised pasta (in the menu), but they said they didn't. veg suppe was excellent. they had this Vietnamese brewery with...rice, which was reasonable. why would have a food not pasta that I would think if as a more popular dish than vietnamese stir fry. the opposite were not too accommodating with the pick of vegetables in the production of the iron frit. a person in our group didn't want to add a lot of rooms, but they just crumbled and pointed out that it was too much. the price was not high according to Swiss standards. overall they will survive here as vegetarians, possibly even with some good meals.
We went to dinner after arrival in the hotel next door. the restaurant is connected to a coop mini food store. the comfort of the hotel is good. eating is decent and fresh, but they can eat in a beautiful restaurant in the city. for a meal for about the same price. the prices are inflated because they are caught in the opposite because there is nothing else. better way to save is to get a few sandwich elements at coop and save the money for something else. they even calculate .85 chf for each part of the butter!
We have broken our trip in the holiday inn next door so it gets a few stars for much comfort. in the inner it is a slightly confusing series of food stations, each of which is different but without clear instructions. the few employees seemed there. restless and taciturn. there is a decent selection of foods and everything looked freshly prepared. the meals we had were all relatiw delicious, without being exceptional. that brings me to ouch. a ground for three of us came to almost 70 pfunds. this is without alcohol, by the way, as according to Swiss quite plugs on the autobahn are not allowed to sell it and remember that this place is self service, not a waiter. in my opinion, this is immediately expensive and eating has simply not justified it. I wish we had sandwiches from the co-op next door, but that looked almost so expensive. They only eat here if they are so tired after a day of driving that they really do not find harassed everywhere better.
