We had the most amazing lunch with home made chickpea soup, along with the most delicious sausage bruschetta and a really nice glass of wine. The service was very polite and professional. We were made to feel at home from the get go. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

To start the food and service is wonderful. The porchetto, wine and arugula salad simple fresh and beautifully presented. The real treasure here is the sense that you are part of something lovely and valued. Nathan our server was so gracious and our experience meant a lot. Part of our Roman adventure is about the treasures you find down narrow back streets that have a engaged local energy. We came away so delighted.

When i went to rome i was surprised to see that this restaurant at the time was not yet listed on tripadvisor, because imo it definitely deserves a good ranking even in a gastronomic heaven like rome. my parents and i had several wonderful meals there. the location can't be more perfect (minutes walk away from colosseum) but it is located on a bit of a side street and as a result we didn't see any other tourists in the area, although there are plenty of locals during the lunch hour that's a good thing, right? it is run by a lady and her husband and another friend, i think, and they don't speak very good english but we got our orders through just fine. they were very fast and friendly, and talkative. the food portions were just right and came at a reasonable price. 10/10 would visit again.
