Corno D'africa - Roma

The Tripadvisor Accuo Shops at the door convinced us to try this place and we are really glad we did it. the menu was in Italian, but the owner spoke very well English and explained everything. the best analogy for the kitchen is perhaps Indian without the curry...or cumin chili paprika offer the kick. So, big service, very good food and not really expensive need I say more?

This is the first time we tried Ethiopian food. The food contains a lot of different spices, we ate the vegetarian dish and it was delicious. The experience was fun because you eat with your hands and it creates a kind of a game and...laughs. After the meal the fingers remain yellow for a few days Prices are reasonable We will definitely go back!

First time I try Ethiopian food and I was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I did not have a reservation but they gave us a table in the normal restaurant area. If you want to experience the typical atmosphere in the African dining room you...need to book. The staff was very welcoming and they gave us a free glass of prosecco. Food was very tasty, it comes in a big plate from were you all share with your hands. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.

A bit out of the main touristic spots of Rome, the restaurant is located in some residential area, in a recent standard building. Once you enter, you are seated in a non standard restaurant, on a sofa with a small low table. This anounces some...shared dishes that you preferably eat with your fingers. I've been there on a business dinner, so relationship becomes immediately much closer. An experience you won't regret !

Corno d'Africa is a nice first step towards Abyssinia cooking. I have been living in Addis for a couple of years and it's obvious I noted a difference, notably the injera, always disappointing in Europe (they cannot get the right cereal here Less spicy than...the original cooking, but good and definitely more adapted to farendji mouth ; ! Shiro was the nicest of our yeTsom beyayenetu (mixed vegetarian). Bosses and staff were very nice, authentical abesha hospitality ; !
