Great locals feel to this incredible spot. You dine in a 300 year old cellar with beautiful stone walls. All of your food is cooked in a wood fired stove right by the tables by the owner who also serves your table. The local cuisine is the best priced spot in Chamonix, and also as incredible as more expensive places. We ate at several other places but continued to return to Le Caveau. The tartiflette and lasagna were unbelievable. Food: 5
