Pearl Restaurant - Rocky Mountain House

We had THE BEST experience here! We showed up just before closing, not realizing this until after we sat down. We were welcomed with open arms. The owners were so friendly and made us special plates that were absolutely enormous! We felt really taken care of

I 'm giving this a 4. And partly for the entertainment value. They 're the only Chinese restaurant in Rocky open for dining. I walked in and they were doing renovations. Sawdust all over the floor. There were a couple other guys (the workers? sitting there, bantering loudly with the owner. Don 't get me wrong, the guy and gal were super friendly and the food was awesome. He kept telling me it would be an extra $1 for hot curry. No idea if it was a joke but I thought it was funny. The decor, from the tables to walls to ceiling, is straight out of the '70s. I remember when I was a kid going to the tiny Chinese restaurant we had in town and this was exactly the same place. So cool for the retro factor.

The ginger beef is delicious, not too syrupy and sugary, very good. Everything I have tried from here is very tasty and the portions are big. The dinner for one can feed 2 people. The staff are very friendly and happy everytime I have been there.

Very pleasant owners and amazing food. Good portions and value. Real Chinese owners no microwaved bull. Authentic Chinese available but not on western menu

The food was absolutely excellent! Had the Curry chicken and Vegetable Fried rice wide assortment of very fresh vegetables in both.
