Shilla Bakery - Rockville

I ordered a Tiramisu cake, and it was delightful. The cappuccino was excellent as well. They offer a wide variety of pastries and cakes to choose from. It’s a lovely spot to unwind in the afternoon or evening.

The cake was delicious, and the fruit tarts, especially the pear tart, were amazing. My mother really enjoyed a bread whose name I can't quite remember; it had something like sweet potatoes or beans in it, which I'm not entirely sure about, haha. It also had cream. If you’re Peruvian, I would say it tastes very similar to King Kong. It was a big bread, and I managed to take a picture before my mother finished it, haha!

A lovely Korean bakery that’s worth visiting early in the day to enjoy the full selection. Many items tend to sell out as the day progresses. Some of the interesting pastries we spotted include green tea coconut bread, banana Madeleines, and lemon Madeleines.

We bought many cakes and pastries over the years. We must say that they were always consistent. I love the fact that their cakes are not too sweet. My favorite is the Blue Berry Cake.

I only come for the bingsoo! Only one time I had a bad one served with a lot of shaved ice and very little ice cream. It's rarely full when I come around the morning on the weekends. The cashiers are nice and there's a lot of baked goods to choose from. Also the cakes look really cool.
