Rathskeller Rockford

I use to go to this place 5 years ago and it is a very convenient to enjoy her eating and relax. I love the gloomy burger and pommes. and her bark stroganoff with suppe. to the time I use to dive after my daily walk. but then a few years later I had to move another place and since then I really miss to come here, and I read the postage article about them that permanently close due to the lack of support, if I'm not wrong, and hopefully it's not true. because I love all about this historic restaurant and I have wondered if they can start with pizzas and pasta dishes because I think it can happen and hopefully one day when I make mine away from all the city, just to catch them on a decent time, it will be great. but apart from that, I hope they can keep up to stay open, and as I said, I still hope they will jump back.

This place is such a juwel! great eating, great atmosphere for working/hour during the daytime. update: we returned to dinner in the garden of the free beer garden of the restaurant, which is hospitable. the food was delicious and the servers were attentive. try the black carving or the Hungarian sausage.

Very nice experience. eating was delicious and German. there were also many options on the menu for those looking for vegetarian options. the breakfast menu looks great! so glad to have rathskeller back. I will be back and welcome the changes. Thank you.

Eating is phenomenal. coffee is amazing, best latte in the city! at this place I can say that I cost a little of everything in the menu. the place is great, the staff is great! with distance, the best laugh I ever had. best burger too.

32oz Spaten Optimaor Beer, German Ruben, Potato Salad, Potsto Soup, Rye Bread, Kraut, ... What more need be said? The prices are reasonable and the portions are beyond fair. The beer garden, even with the bustle of Rockford traffic, is quaint and quite enjoyable. The staff, Kat, is very polite, accommodating, and knowledgable. This is a place that I strongly suggest everyone visit.
