Blondie's Diner - River Grove

This is definitely a classic diner, complete with the food, decor, and atmosphere you'd expect. I loved it! I had the Italian sausage cheesesteak special, and my wife ordered an omelette, both of which were fantastic. We will definitely be returning and bringing some friends along next time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly—not in a fancy, white-tablecloth way, but that's not the vibe here. It's a diner, and a great spot to try if you haven't been yet!

This place is amazing! My friend Danny and his mom, Sue, introduced me and our friends (Guy, Aaron, Niko, Fabian, and others) to this spot when we were younger, and we absolutely love it. Thank you for being the best!

I was recommended to try Blondies by a friend, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The food was fresh, hot, flavorful, and offered a wonderful variety, as you can see from my menu photos. Our waitress, Violet, was incredibly friendly, polite, helpful, and efficient. My coffee cup was always refilled before it got below half full—she came by five or six times during our breakfast to make sure I had enough. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I had a cheeseburger an fries which were pretty good. I had to order extra fries because they had catsup. Then I ordered a milk shake half chocolate and have strawberry.
