It is a great atmosphere where you can feel Brazil and the Carioca soul in all their essence while eating amazing meat. Be careful, but the dose is huge!
We ordered Picanha, which cost about 200R and it was served with Brocoli rice, tomatoes and Oignons salad, Fajoaida and fries. It was so delicious! We couldn't finish the supplements, we wanted to make sure that Picanha first. Unfortunately, the waiters did not speak Portuguese, but they did their best to serve us.
High quality picanha beef and supplements 5 star brocoli rice, fajoada with eggs and bananas, tomatoes and oignon salad and pommes).
Absolutely exceptional - one of the best steaks I had in Brazil and enough to feed at least 2-3 people. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned and also seemed to be dry aged. The salad and the accusations were also delicious (try their garlic butter bread, but do not fill up!! Service was amazing too- this is one of my new favorite restaurants in Rio!
A carioca restaurant! This is a place where locals often go to feel home they know the waiters and greet them like old friends, eat and drink comfort food, spend long time talking and laughing on the balcony. At lunch of week days you can ask for an executive meal , well served for two and low cost. At evenings and nights the preferences are for appetizers and beer. Located on Baixo Gávea , a hot place to go by night, the Braseiro is always a perfect choice. You can get there by bus or metro bus. There 's a lot of public parking area (except on Fridays, when there 's a public food fair).
