Banzai Sushi House Ltd - Richmond

We ordered take-out sushis for the familiy. The service was fast and friendly (cash only). The sushis were tasty. However, the sushis were too big and hard to eat. We could not eat them without breaking them.

I think the House Roll is named because it is proverbially, as big as a house! It 's huge with sliced of the roll being about 4.5 in diameter. It takes about six bites to consume it. The amount of sushi/maki you 'll get here is usually a lot. Our family of four adults had leftovers and we are not shy eaters the volume of pieces that came with Party Platter B is quite a lot. The restaurant itself is not fancy, so, perhaps not the ideal place for a 1st date if you 're looking for ambiance, but if you 're there for the reasonably priced food, your date might more impressed by your ability to hunt down a great value. Bottom line: Banzai is a great place to get a lot of good quality sushi for a low price. That 's good value!

Best sushi joint in the lower mainland. Massive portions, good quality and service. They only take cash so plan ahead. I try to make a habit of getting there when I fly into yvr. Also the proprietor does a good job of COVID-19 mitigation’s.

I love dining at this restaurant. The food is tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and always quick to refill my tea. I highly recommend this place for families, friends, couples, and especially for tourists visiting British Columbia looking to experience the local cuisine.

Upon first glance, the restaurant may seem expensive, but once you experience the attentive service and beautifully crafted sushi pieces, you realize the value of the entire dining experience. My dining companion and I ordered a 34-piece platter, but only managed to finish 20 pieces between us, which is unusual as we typically can easily consume 55 pieces together. The average cost for a meal for two is reasonable, around $30. The only downside is that the parking can be a bit of a hassle, and the food takes a bit longer to arrive at the table after ordering. Overall, it is a great option for fresh sushi, although it is unfortunate that they do not offer Bento Boxes or low-sodium soy sauce.
