Ajishou Japanese Cuisine - Richmond

This Japanese restaurant offers a superb sushi bar experience with great value, making it one of the best in Vancouver for delivery.

The service was great, the food was excellent - I haven't tried anything bad. The prices were reasonable, and it is a family-friendly restaurant with a convenient location and lots of parking. Would I go back? Definitely.

We dine in for a last minute dinner plan. we been seated near the back kitchen and we’ve been served for like about 15-20mins. the ambiance is kinda bad because it smells like dishwashing liquid since they are already almost closing time so i ended up not finishing my food because it feels like im eating a dishwashing liquid bec of the smell. and the portion of the food is small but its a little bit pricey so its not worth it.

This was the third restaurant we tried in this area near the Vancoiver International Airport, on a weekday.The first one was another Asian sushi place, their lower prices caused a lineup outside, young crowd of people eating out all the times, then we tried another sushi place, all-you-can-eat, the servers rushed us to place the order, so we got up and left, and this third one seemed to be our lucky find.The servers here were very polite, evem they appeared tired at the end of their workday; the place is very clean, the Menu booklet shows clear pictures of the food, they have large TVs for those who are into sports or nature or are by themselves, prices are average, food quality is very good, furniture and tables appeared new and clean, could not see dirty kitchens and piles of crates like we saw in few sushi and Asian food places.Very pleased with the food and the service; it is a personal opinion, I used to chase sushi places in town, now I can only compare to Ki sushi in New West that we use for over 20years, so I am happy that the first two we stopped by that night were not worth our money.
