Cappuccino Italian Bistro - Richardson

The bruschetta was ordered for 8 people. No one could eat it because the toasted bread was so hard. Could not even cut it with a knife. So my guests spooned the tomatoes off and ate that. Embarrassing! I ordered eggplant parmigiana. The tomato sauce tasted as if it had been burned. A couple others did not like their order either. Sorry but this may be our last visit to Cappuccinos.

Wait staff was very nice and accommodating but the food was mediocre at best. The salad was drenched in so much creamy dressing I couldn't really taste the greens. The chicken Alfredo was unfortunately a disappointment as well. The noodles were rubbery and overcooked.

I visited Cappuccino Italian Bistro for the first time today for lunch. I was really impressed with the environment of the dining room. The restaurant was beautifully laid out and highly inviting for friends to enjoy a meal or for a business meeting. I ordered several items off of the menu for my lunch today and some additional items for a friend. We both really enjoyed the food items we ordered and found the meal to be very tasty. The service was great too. I found all of their wait staff to be very attentive and generous with their time. If you are looking for an Italian bistro environment with delicious food, I would recommend that you check out this restaurant. My friend and I enjoyed them and I?ll certainly be back again! Yummy!!

Service was good albeit a little slow. Very nice atmosphere with flowers and candles on all the tables, would be a good place to go on a date. Food was good, although portions were smaller than most Italian restaurants I've been to, they weren't small, it's just that many Italian restaurants give you more food than most can finish. I was a little disappointed that the eggplant in the eggplant parmigiana was unbreaded and grilled instead of fried like I've always had before, but this may have been in the description on the menu and overlooked by me. I did some searches and grilled eggplant is used in some recipes, I just never had it that way before.

Great local restaurant with amazing service and food! I had the salmon special and it was so good. Will return soon.
