Land Ocean Reno

We stopped in for a nosh and the glass or 2 of wine. The service was spectacular. Sitting at the bar, people were genuinely friendly. Their appetizers looked scrumptious. So we followed suit ordering wedge salads and crab cakes. They were to live to be able to eat more. Enjoying our second glass of wine we shared the chef's weekly creation. The presentation is spectacular. The flavors are exquisite. It is now a favorite.

I took my mom here for her birthday last night and we both throughly enjoyed ourselves. I honestly didn’t expect the food to be so delicious. We started out with their homemade bread ? and butter. The bread was so delicious, warm, and soft. We both ordered salads that arrived within minutes of ordering. The Cesar salad was crispy and flavorful and topped with their homemade croutons. I ordered the New York strip steak with crispy onion rings, asparagus, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. The salted garlic butter and rosemary was the most perfectly balanced topping for my steak. The flavors were balanced so perfectly that each bite transported me to a magical place of beauty. Every single thing we ate was better than I imagined. I was honestly amazed at how polite the wait staff was and at how quickly we were sat, especially as a walk-in on a Friday evening. Our waitress, Heather was so attentive and helpful with the menu selections. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town.

I have always wanted to try Land Ocean Restaurant. Many things got in the way, until today and I was not at all disappointed. I ordered the land ocean meal. The filet mignon, the lobster, the mashed potatoes, and the asparagus were cooked to perfection. My taste buds launched a party. The greeting was warm, welcoming, attentive, sorry I didn't ask the name of the young lady who helped me, I will look for her on my for sure next visit and thank her properly. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant gives a feel good moment. SUPERB!

The boys came to reno for a bachelor party. Made dinner reservations here! Service was top notch! Food was excellent! Definitely will be coming back! Hands down one of the best restaurants in town!

Luckily, the woman bartender was there. Vinny, the bartender was so RUDE. He acknowledged every.single.person at the bar EXCEPT my husband and I (who were there for our anniversary)We requested our check, he ignored me, and started a conversation with other patrons.I was really looking forward to our trip there, and it was ruined by the poor service.
