Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant is decent, but don't be discouraged by the 3-star rating, as I have high standards. In Glasgow, there are probably 3 or 4 top Indian restaurants. This restaurant is convenient and provides a satisfactory meal, but don't expect to be impressed or eager to return. It is a good option based on its location. The service was quick, but the staff seemed inexperienced. A mix of experienced and inexperienced staff is needed for improvement.
I would give zero stars if possible! Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found it to be less than half full with most tables still dirty. Despite waiting inside for at least 5 minutes near the "cash only" sign due to a broken credit card machine, we were not acknowledged by any staff. After being seated and told that menus would be brought to us, we waited over 10 minutes without any staff assistance. Feeling ignored, we ultimately decided to leave and it seemed as though our departure went unnoticed. This was not the first time we had encountered issues at this restaurant and we will not be returning.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has permanently closed down. I arrived last night for a reservation I made on Groupon two weeks ago, only to find the place dark and empty, with a broken credit card machine taped to the door. The staff at the location had no information to provide about the closure. When I called Mr. Singhs India in Glasgow, they disclaimed any responsibility, despite sharing the same website. They did offer to sell me another deal, which was kind but also made me question the situation.
It's nice enough. Don't be disheartened with the stars as I have high standards. There are probably or top Indian restaurants in glasgow. This is handy as in soar, it ticks boxes for decent meal, but don't expect to be raving about it or hurrying back. It will prob serve as a good option given the location The service was prompt enough but the waiting staff were all very inexperienced, a blend of experience is required.
Would leave no stars if I could! We arrived at the restaurant and it was not even half full, although most tables had dirty dishes on them. We waited at least mins inside next to the sign that said cash only, credit card machine broke before being seen by a member of staff. We were kept waiting while they cleaned a table for us, then we were seated and told they would bring menus over. We waited over mins for the menu during which time we were ignored by staff. We gave up and walked out, don't think they noticed us leave. Wouldn't go back as it's not first time we have had problems there.
