Theron's Marketplace - Redlands

I always enjoy dining in the downtown area. Theron's has consistently served fantastic sandwiches in a laid-back atmosphere. With their new location and expanded menu, it has become an even better place to dine and socialize.

Theron's Marketplace is Redlands' first food hall, offering six different mini-restaurants all conveniently interconnected. You can order from any of them at one central counter. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was fantastic with unique wall decorations. The seating was uncomfortable, discouraging guests from lingering. Despite the 8 p.m. closing time, we stayed past 8:30 p.m. We were gently reminded to leave at 8:30 p.m., prompting a quick exit. However, we couldn't resist trying the delicious frozen custard before we left.

After a long, hot day exploring the beautiful and historic sites of Redlands, we decided to stop in for a sundae. It was absolutely delicious! The staff were accommodating and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be coming back to try their build-your-own salad and sandwiches.

We have been here several times and always love it. Brought my Mom here for the first time today and she had the Grove Sandwich, pasta salad, and the clam chowder-wanted to taste everything : this place always has fresh yummy food and friendly staff! Verypatient and great recommendations. Can?t wait to come back again.

Got sandwiches from the deli portion of Theron's Marketplace. We had the Grove (turkey-pesto) and BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato). Of the two, the BLAT was the better one, with crispy sourdough and excellent bacon. The Grove was also good, with avery strong pesto spread, but the bread was wet which led to a somewhat soggy experience. Service here was fine. My complaintis that due to the open dining area and high ceiling, it is really hard to hear the staff calling out completed orders; itwasn't until I actually opened my sandwiches that I had any confidence I'd been given the right food. Particularly for the otherrestaurants in the back, it would be super hard to hear. A number system on a digital reader-board or some other similar methodwould be useful. Overall, good food, but environment could be better.
