We chose to come here based on the fact that it had a petting animal zoo but we weren’t even allowed to pat the animals and we had to feed them through a fence. The food; after a 40 minute wait, was nothing to write home about. The high chairs were covered in black mould and furniture in general was not fit for even donation including the children’s toys. The jumping castle was closed for a birthday event, but they didn’t update their Facebook with any information, nor pick up their phone when we tried calling multiple times to confirm.
Jungle Beans is lovely. The staff were all genuine and friendly. The cappuccino was perfectly made (thank you! and the eggs perfectly cooked. The small children's playground is fenced and right beside the covered seating area, so you really can have your cake watch the kids, too. I left a star off because the cafe is tired-looking and the menu dated. But it deserves 5 stars for service-food- -value. Very reasonable prices. We'll go back. (Oh, and they feed little goats every day at 11am. Delightful!
I visited today with my 6 yr old and ger 2 friends/mum. Unfortunately we chose a wet/cold day so no bouncy castle. The food was average at best. My 'Chicken Schnitzel burger ' was a cheap supermarket schnitzel pan fried and had zero taste. My dayghter had the kids fish n chips. Beware of the angry birds. They are extremely aggressive and even stole food off my daughters plate. Afterwards we went visited the animals. The miniature horses looked miserable and nipped my friends daughter. The other animals alpacas, goats were friendly enough but when I asked the staff member general questions about the animals she was completely clueless. Would I visit again? I doubt it.
Pat the alpaca’s and goats, ride a pony, jump in the jumping castle, walk in the little rainforest, slide and swing; and end off with a baby chino or milkshake; what more could a kid want? The spacious, rustic cafe area is located right next to the little park where Mom, Dad and grandparents can enjoy a brekkie and coffee whilst able to keep their eyes on the kids. Perfect for playgroups and Mom’s groups, too!
I have visited this restaurant several times for Sunday breakfast with both my partner and friends. The Eggs Benedict were priced at $9.90 and came with a good portion size and a generous amount of Hollandaise sauce. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. The coffee is also excellent.
