Mr Lin Noodle Bar - REDLAND BAY

Ordered dinner & had fast service. Good selection on menu & price was fair. Staff friendly. What I selected off menu (chicken noodles) was cooked well & smelled great, but unfortunately tasted like oil & couldn't eat it. If I return to the area I will probably order something else (noticed another patron eating Soup & commented it was nice)

Cashier standing behind counter wiping his running nose on his hand, using same hand to put raw ingredients into bowl for chef to cook. Wipes nose along finger. Then other finger. Then heel of hand. Uses same hands to put lid on bowl once food is cooked. Damn my english background. Couldn't bring myself to say I didn't want the food out of politeness. Disgusting. He showed no concern at all for the health issues his behaviour posed. handling. Money, food, and his snot with the same hands.

I have read the previous reviews which were months ago and i think its not up to date. I've been to this noodle shop last week and their noodles taste so delicious. Just get to know that they have a new management, which is good. Service is friendly and clean. I have decent amount of vegetables and meats in my meat lover noodle. I love it!

MarkE's comments were very true of the time he visited way back in 2011 Mr Lin's Noodle Bar in Wynnum. Whilst the pricing is still fair compered to other's, the prices have gone up but food standard's have dropped and service standard's are appauling.. Don't just check this advisor site, apparently there are other's also.

We had trouble finding any restaurant open on New Year's Eve 2011, and luckily chanced upon this noodle shop still open. Whilst the shop was not much to look at, the prices were average for noodles, and the food was very good. No tasteless bottled sauces here - they were clearly made on-site using real ingredients. The difference in flavour was obvious! If you're after the bland consistency of noodle restaurant chains, keep driving. Very happy with our noodle experience - this cheap & cheerful takeaway deserves to do well!
