They're getting way too expensive. Chicken filet with soup 30 plus tip. 21 for chicken and 6 for soup as if you take th dessert they charge the soup and not the dessert. All the coke you can drink. Which was good as the only beer left was corona or bud. Nice restaurant, but way too expensive as the filet was 15 before covid. And service was not very good. Had to have fries as rice was not available Will not be going back.
This st Hubertus is very confusing for English people. We family of three don 't speak French, so this was very hard to place an order and we tried to get a seat inside and but we accidentally ordered take out. So we tried to sit down outside there were many dirty/unclean tables with garbage still on it after the previous people were done. As we tried to have a good family supper wich was VERY expensive for a VERY ok meal. We were told to leave but since we didn 't understand freanch we didn 't know what she ment. We had almost finished our meal then was told to leave agin. But in English. She told us to leave immediately, we said were almost done can we finish. She said no you can 't the people inside pay for seating and u didn 't so leave. And it was raining so we tried to stand up under a tent the had and finish but we were told to leave agin(in french) so we didnt under stand. We stood out side on the side walk in the rain while finishing up our meals. My fries wore soggy when we got them my chiken was good ill give them that. wont because of the service. The people taking our order was nice and they were working with us because we didn 't understand each other. Will I eat here agin? NO! Ill stay away from this St-Huberts from now on.
Had the chance to experience this St. Hubert here in Quebec City...we tried their half chicken and fish and chips. Presentation was nice. Service was amazing! Food taste fine and really was on the salty side...the fish, chocken and gravy...so eating every single item seemed hard to swallow. Other than the salt rush...it would have been really amazing!
We were excited to try this place. We arrived the night prior and were told it was take out only, so for lunch the next day, we ordered online in advance. When we arrived to pickup, we noticed others eating outside on the patio. When we tried the do the same, we were told that the patio was off limits and to go eat in the park instead. The explanation was weird and awkward, I'll chalk it up to being lost in translation. The food was okay, not great. The packaging was complete overkill. Recyclable, but just so much for no reason. We'll pass on St Hubert in the future.
