Do not judge a book by it's cover. It may not look glamorous, with trendy décor, but it is an immensely welcoming restaurant. Exquisite indian cuisine, the best by far, in my humble opinion. Heartwarming service. You can also order take out. My family has been eating there since many years. We've never been disappointed. Kawal and ghazal tonight, with a splendid buffet an evening well spent! It is best to reserve ahead if you wish to dine in.

Great family atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and caring. The price is affordable and the foods are super yummy. Place to on Saturday night to enjoy the buffet ouvert and great qawal songs.

One of the best indian food restaurant in Mauritius. They have changed their dishes to suit young ones, not hot at all. You can still make your dishes spicy on request. I'd highly recommend this place.

Shamiana Restaurant is the kinda one where it is not too overpopular but the dishes are always amazing and delicious. The owner is pretty cool and the staff are welcoming. If the portions were a bit bigger, it would have been 5 stars for the food review. But overall very good restaurant and would defo recommend going.
